Tabung Amanah Pekerja (TAP) has concluded the second session of its Retirement Planning Certification Programme (RPCP), held from 20 to 23 May 2025. This programme continues to be a key initiative under TAP’s efforts to strengthen retirement planning knowledge and advisory capabilities among financial professionals in Brunei Darussalam.

The session welcomed 26 financial planning practitioners, including professionals from private insurance institutions such as AIA Brunei and Syarikat Takaful Brunei Darussalam Sdn Bhd, who are actively engaged in providing financial advisory services to the general public. 

RPCP is one of TAP’s key initiatives aimed at equipping and certifying financial planners across the country with accurate and comprehensive knowledge on retirement planning. This includes essential insights into TAP’s products, such as the National Retirement Scheme (SPK). The programme also provides structured training tailored to retirement planning within the SPK framework. 

Participants who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the TAPCERT certification. With this certification, the public can now seek retirement planning advice from TAPCERT Financial Practitioners, ensuring greater trust and confidence in the guidance provided. 

With two successful sessions completed this year, a third session of the RPCP is scheduled for September 2025.
